Michelle is our Impact Advisor to the board and driven by business excellence and social change, her personal mission is to create a more inclusive society, one in which no one is left behind. In December 2020, Michelle was appointed CEO of UNICEF Aotearoa New Zealand, one of 33 UNICEF National Committees, which raise funds for UNICEF’s worldwide emergency and development work.

Griff is our in-house business consultant with an international career in 20+ countries across four continents spanning both Executive and Operational Leadership within multi-national, multi-cultural organisations. Recently moved to New Zealand, Griff’s role is to work with Newbrook’s clients around problem solving, strategy and exit planning.

Our in-house entrepreneur is Robett Hollis (based in San Fran). Robett is a National Champion Ex-Professional Snowboarder & Snowboard World Championships Silver Medalist, Olympic Commentator & TV Producer with 20+ years of experience in the media and technology industry.

Scott, who is our independent director for Newbuild, is a business owner and leader with 15 years in Senior Leadership and strategic positions in New Zealand, Australia, and the UK. Originally trained as a chartered accountant, Scott worked with Coopers and Lybrand until moving overseas to further to career in finance and management positions for almost a decade.

Jemma is the founder and CEO of Spinach Loans, one of Newbrook's trusted third parties, and is a specialist in obtaining finance for SME’s up to $500K and thrives on working with hard working business owners. Based in Auckland but works across New Zealand she has built a strong reputation for excellence and customer service.

Property finance is a complex undertaking, so we rely on the property expertise of our specialist, Joe. A construction professional with major building and civil project experience in the UK, Middle East, and New Zealand, in excess of $5Bn. He has steered developments through complex consenting processes and can identify and manage risks by thorough analysis of contracts and programmes.

Charlie is an experienced fund manager and investment professional. He has more than 25 years' experience in financial services, as a share broker at JBWere and then in funds management, including managing the Perpetual Trust funds management division, co-founding Mainland Capital and a governance role at Quarry Capital. He has managed funds invested in equities and fixed interest, but also, of relevance to The New Build Fund, in property and property related debt. He has also worked in consultancy roles to property developers and investors.
