Dave Armstrong

Dave founded Newbrook Private Capital after years of hands-on deal work across the mid-market. He has sat on every side of the table: valuing businesses for raises and exits, advising buyers and sellers through M&A, rebuilding the numbers in restructures, and structuring private credit for companies the banks can't reach.

Within Newbrook, I lead the team and consult on specialist deal advisory for SMEs. With the focus around capital raising based transactions and buy side M&A. With a key offering in valuation work and utilising international networks to gain access to private capital markets.

David Akers

David is a Director of Newbrook Private Capital, working alongside Dave on valuations, deal advisory and private credit for SMEs.

He comes from the executive management space, where he has spent his career helping companies work through critical problems and issues in executive and programme management. His clients have included organisations from across the public and private sectors, among them Fonterra, EDS/Telecom, ENZA, New Zealand Post, MAF, IRD and MSD.

His goal is to help organisations better understand their strategic drivers, and how good management and governance get the best return on investment.

Marcus Wolfgram

Marcus is part of Newbrook Private Capital's senior management team. In 2019 he founded Intrepid Beancounter to bring a fresh perspective to SMEs with ambition, with areas of focus in finance, governance and operations.

Leveraging a broad base of financial and management expertise, his passion lies in connecting innovative companies with the right resources, and helping leaders and organisations unlock their potential.

His experience spans the globe and a diverse range of industries, including investment, recruitment, manufacturing, construction and SaaS. That depth of exposure enables him to deliver strategic insights and decisive guidance tailored to each client's unique challenges and opportunities.
